Job summary

Caspian One is seeking an iOS Architect for a hybrid Toronto role in a major Canadian financial services organisation undergoing a digital transformation of its mobile banking platform.

The role combines architecture, solution design and hands-on engineering within a large enterprise, collaborating with Product, UX, QA and backend teams to shape the mobile strategy and implement scalable iOS solutions. Hybrid work with in-office Wednesdays and a monthly third-Friday on-site is required.

We're partnering with a major Canadian financial services organisation undergoing a significant digital transformation of its mobile banking platform. As part of continued investment across their mobile engineering function, they are looking for an experienced iOS Architect to help shape the future direction of one of Canada's largest consumer mobile applications.

This is an opportunity for someone who enjoys operating at both the strategic and hands‑on level, combining architecture, solution design and software engineering within a large‑scale enterprise environment.

What You'll Be Doing

• Define and influence mobile architecture and technical strategy.
• Design scalable, secure and maintainable iOS solutions.
• Remain hands‑on with development while providing architectural leadership.
• Partner closely with Product Owners, UX teams, Business Analysts, QA teams and backend engineering groups.
• Guide technical decision‑making across multiple initiatives and workstreams.
• Support the ongoing evolution of a large, customer‑facing mobile banking application.
• Contribute to best practices, code quality and engineering standards.

Required Experience
