Job summary

Salt Digital Recruitment is seeking an iOS Developer with strong backend skills to join a full-stack team focused on mobile-first solutions. The role spans iOS development, backend APIs, and infra work, delivering features end-to-end.

The successful candidate will design and integrate RESTful and GraphQL services, work with cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure), and contribute to CI/CD and monitoring practices across the stack.

Our client is looking for a strong iOS Developer with Backend Development expertise to join their team. This is essentially a full-stack engineering role with a mobile focus, ideal for someone comfortable working across iOS, Backend, and Infrastructure and owning features end-to-end.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain high-quality native iOS applications.
• Build and maintain backend services and APIs supporting the mobile experience.
• Own features across the full lifecycle, from mobile development through backend and infrastructure.
• Design and integrate scalable APIs, databases, and server-side functionality.
• Support cloud infrastructure, deployments, monitoring, and application reliability.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues across the mobile, backend, and infrastructure layers.
• Collaborate with Product, Design, and Engineering teams on architecture and technical solutions.
• Contribute to CI/CD, testing, performance, and engineering best practices.

Ideal Candidate

• Strong professional experience in native iOS development, particularly Swift.
• Proven backend development experience with modern server-side technologies.
• Experience building and integrating RESTful and/or GraphQL APIs.
• Experience with cloud infrastructure such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.
• Knowledge of databases, authentication, application security, and scalable systems.
• Familiarity with CI/CD, Docker, monitoring, and deployment practices.
• Most importantly, comfortable working across Mobile + Backend + Infrastructure, rather than being solely focused on iOS development.
