Job description

Job Title: iOS App Developer - Wealth Management Technology

Location: Calgary (day 1 onboarding onsite / in-office presence required 3x/week)

Position Description

This position is for a senior iOS Developer working on our E*TRADE and Wealth Management App in Calgary (currently 3 days a week onsite minimum).

Responsibilities & Skills
Required:
  • Proficiency in Swift 6, Swift UI, UIKit
  • Broad iOS API experience, including Local Authentication, WebKit, Networking
  • Deep knowledge of iOS programming concepts, including Swift Concurrency, Crash Analysis
  • Experience with the latest Xcode, xcodebuild, and iOS SDKs
  • Experience providing technical guidance to junior team members and reviewing pull requests for architectural correctness
Your day-to-day may include some of these tasks:
  • Create and enhance features for our flagship E*TRADE and Wealth Management apps
  • Perform annual maintenance on the codebase and automated build scripts to keep pace with iOS and Xcode updates
  • Maintain certificates and signing processes, including certificate pinning, provisioning profiles, and push notification certificates
  • Monitor production feedback, crash reports, and analytics to address issues
  • Collaborate with infrastructure teams to resolve proxy, software, and administrative privilege issues impacting iOS development or build processes

This is a full-time contractual position, expected to last at least one year. The candidate must work onsite, as device debugging via USB is required. Vacation policy is flexible with prior notice.

Additional Required Skills:
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
  • BA/BS in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent practical experience

  • Strong user experience skills
