Elby Professional Recruitment is assisting a growing Private Equity firm near the Oakville/Burlington border in hiring an Investor Relations & Business Development Associate. This early-career finance role offers hands-on exposure to private equity funds, investor relations, fundraising, and business development.

You will manage advisor relationships, respond to inquiries, educate on funds and strategies, and support capital-raising initiatives while building a strong network in the investment

Qualifications

• Recent graduate with a degree in Business, Commerce, Finance, or a related field.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Confident, personable, and comfortable building relationships.
• Organized, detail-oriented, and eager to learn.
• Genuine interest in Private Equity, investments, and capital raising.

Our client, a growing Private Equity firm located near the Oakville/Burlington border, is looking for an ambitious Investor Relations & Business Development Associate to join their team. This is an exciting opportunity for an early-career finance professional who wants to learn the business, build relationships with investment advisors, and develop toward a future role in Business Development and capital raising.

The Opportunity

You will work closely with the firm's team and advisor network, gaining hands-on exposure to Private Equity funds, investor relations, fundraising, and business development. Approximately 80% of the role will focus on managing and developing existing advisor relationships, with 20% focused on identifying new Exempt Market Dealers and business development opportunities.
