Job summary

TekWissen seeks a SimCorp technical and functional Support analyst for a 12- to 18-month Toronto assignment. The candidate will support and integrate investment/portfolio systems, configure Batch/DFS/DEX, and manage static data such as security, pricing, and model portfolios.

Deep knowledge of Performance, Treasury, and Accounting modules is required. Professional skills include handling Corporate Actions, understanding the full trade lifecycle, and supporting critical, time-sensitive processes

Qualifications

• Experience with SimCorp Dimension and related modules.
• Knowledge of Batch/DFS/DEX configuration within the SimCorp application.
• Experience with static data setup: security, pricing, model portfolio.
• Deep knowledge of Performance, Treasury and Accounting modules.
• Experience handling Corporate Actions.
• Understanding full trade lifecycle including settlements and custody reconciliations.
• Experience supporting mission-critical, time-sensitive processes.
• Proactively identifies, tracks, and resolves technical issues from testing and daily use.
• Broader knowledge in Oracle, Linux/Windows scripting, IBM DataStage, IBM WebSphere MQ, Software AG webMethods.
• Working experience with VMware vSphere for virtualization.
• Experience with application performance monitoring and tuning.
• On-call rotation for after-hours support and SLA adherence.
• Helps define metrics to monitor system performance.

  • Experience with the support and integration of investment/portfolio accounting and investment management systems
  • Knowledge of Batch/DFS (Data Format Set Ups)/DEX (Data Extract) configuration within the application
  • Experience with Static data set up and maintenance (security, pricing, model portfolio)
  • In depth knowledge of Performance, Treasury and Accounting modules
  • Experience with handling Corporate Action events
  • Understanding of full trade life cycle including settlements and custody holdings reconciliations
• IT Specific
  • Experience in supporting processes that are mission critical and time sensitive
  • Proactively identifies, tracks, manages and resolves technical issues identified through testing and day to day use of the supported platforms

  • Working experience with virtualized server monitoring tools such as WMware vSphere

  • Takes part in an on-call rotation for after hour support of end of day batch cycles
  • Ensures that the application is operating within service levels and partners with Technology Services to investigate and resolve SLA issues
