Our client, a dynamic and fast-growing investment management firm, is seeking an Investment Operations Assistant to support critical back-office functions, client servicing, and executive operations. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional eager to contribute to a collaborative team in the heart of Montreal’s financial district.

Key Responsibilities:

Operations & Client Servicing:

• Manage client onboarding, including document collection, electronic filing, and compliance follow-ups.
• Assist with monthly/quarterly reporting and promptly address client inquiries.
• Oversee office operations and vendor coordination.

Business Development & Marketing Support:

• Update marketing materials, maintain databases, and draft client communications.
• Conduct competitive analyses and assist in preparing presentations for stakeholders.

Executive & Administrative Support:

• Provide direct assistance to the CEO (scheduling and meeting preparation).
• Review client and vendor contracts, ensuring accurate record-keeping.
• Lead operations meetings and track action items.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

• Education: Undergraduate degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, STEM (Math, Engineering, Science), or a related field.
• Experience: 1–3 years in operations, client servicing, or back-office roles within finance (investment management, fund administration, or trading is a plus).
• Skills:
• Advanced Microsoft Excel; coding (Python, SQL, etc.) or technical aptitude is an asset, but not required.
• Exceptional organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
• Strong written/verbal communication.
• Traits: Autonomous, adaptable, with a proactive mindset.
