You will support data collection and analysis, build and maintain spreadsheets and dashboards, and help prepare comprehensive reports for senior management to inform key investment and business decisions. The role involves researching market trends, industry movements, and competitive dynamics to generate actionable insights, with a focus on accuracy, timely reporting, and collaboration across finance

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree (in progress or completed) in Finance, Statistics, Data Science, Mathematics, Business Intelligence, or a related field.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with data analysis and AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Claude).
• Familiarity with Bloomberg terminal, Yahoo Finance, Benzinga, or similar financial tools (an asset).
• Knowledge of financial markets and exposure to investments (an asset).
• Understanding of data mining, statistical analysis, and predictive modeling.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Collect and analyze historical market trends and current economic conditions to support portfolio analysis.
• Monitor industry movements and the competitive landscape to provide strategic insights into the securities investment environment.
• Review and analyze financial statements (balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow) to identify strengths and opportunities for improvement.
• Develop financial models to forecast future performance based on historical data and market trends.
• Support risk analysis by identifying potential risks and assessing their impact.
