Base pay range

$150.00/hr - $150.00/hr

Mercor is recruiting U.S./UK/Canada/Europe/East Asia-based Finance Experts for a research project with a leading foundational model AI lab.

You are a good fit if you

• Have at least 2 years of experience working at top firms in investment banking or private equity and experience in at least one of the following
• Product groups
• Restructuring & Distressed Investing
• PIPE (private investment in public equities) / convertible security models
• IPO modeling
• Coverage groups
• Biotech

Role details

• The work is fully asynchronous and can be done around your schedule
• You must be able to commit at least 20 hours per week for this role
• This contract is expected to last till December
• Successful contributions increase the odds that you are selected on future projects with Mercor
• The vetting process involves:
• ~10 minute behavioral interview asking about previous deals you’ve worked on
• Technical assessment (< 30 minutes) evaluating financial expertise
• One 2h paid assessment of modeling skills

Pay and legal status

• This role will pay $150/hour
• We will pay you out at the end of each week via Stripe Connect based on the number of hours you log
• You will be classified as an “at-will” contractor to Mercor
• Please note that we cannot currently support H1-B or STEM OPT status candidates
