Job Family Group:

As an Investment Associate, you will partner with a highly successful senior IA team to develop and grow a profitable business.

Your primary responsibilities include building trust and strong client relationships, assessing individual investment needs, and providing professional, tailored advice to meet clients' financial goals. You will also focus on developing long-term relationships based on excellent wealth planning and investment advice, ensuring a superior client experience.

You will assist in building a profitable business and acquiring new assets in collaboration with the Senior IA and other team members.

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Advanced understanding of investment processes and procedures.
  • Proactive and professional assistance to IAs to meet client needs and execute business strategies.
  • Ability to independently manage wealth management strategies for defined client segments.
  • Knowledge of portfolio construction, management, and insurance products.
  • Familiarity with financial planning to support client needs.
  • Ability to identify suitable investment strategies based on client profiles.
  • Strong business development, sales, and marketing skills, including proactive prospecting techniques.
  • Extensive business and community networks of potential clients.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills and high integrity in client interactions.
  • Ability to identify gaps, monitor performance, and ensure compliance with regulations and internal policies.
  • Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities.
  • Works independently with broader responsibilities as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 5 years relevant experience and/or certification in a related field or equivalent education and experience.
  • Knowledge of Canadian Securities Course & Conduct and Practices Handbook.
  • Registration as a Registered Representative (RR).
  • Compliance with CIRO Continuing Education requirements; WME completed within 30 months of RR license.
  • Deep knowledge from education or experience; strong collaboration, analytical, influence, and problem-solving skills.

This role is eligible for a monthly discretionary bonus.

Salary: $41,600.00 - $77,000.00
