Job description
Overview

The RBC Dominion Securities branch located in Sarnia, Ontario is seeking an Investment Associate to provide dedicated support in investment and money management activities for a high performing Advisory Team.

Responsibilities
  • Execute trades and rebalance portfolios
  • Follow up on client trades to ensure proper settlement and delivery
  • Provide proactive client service with a focus on problem resolution and attention to detail. Liaise with various departments for execution where necessary
  • Respond to client inquiries (account transactions, requests for tax receipts, account reporting, etc.)
  • Help manage incoming communications from Clients, Advisors and other internal and external partners
  • Maintain existing client accounts and identify opportunities to contact clients; manage timelines and key dates for accounts
  • Help update team’s communication channels: websites, LinkedIn, Facebook, brochures, newsletters, etc.
What you need to succeed

Preferred candidates - should have or be working towards:

  • Canadian Securities Course (CSC) and Conduct and Practices Handbook Course (CPH)
  • Strong Microsoft Office Suite skills
  • Meticulous attention to detail and excellent time management skills
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in securities industry
Nice-to-have
  • Knowledge of RBC Dominion Securities’ systems and procedures
