My client is a privately held real estate investment and development firm based in Toronto, with a focus on high-impact residential and commercial projects across the Greater Toronto Area. The firm combines deep local expertise with a long-term, institutional approach to value creation, working across both its own developments and strategic partnerships with some of the most respected players in the industry.

Led by a seasoned team with decades of experience, the company has built a strong reputation for delivering complex, design-driven projects that enhance the communities they serve. Its current portfolio includes a number of large-scale developments in active planning and construction, positioning the firm as a key contributor to the region’s evolving urban landscape.

Responsibilities:

• Build and maintain detailed financial models for investment evaluation, deal structuring, and corporate financial management.
• Prepare investor presentations and internal reports to support investment decisions and fundraising efforts.
• Collaborate with the management team to assess potential development opportunities and conduct market due diligence.
• Monitor ongoing project performance and ensure alignment with timelines and financial targets, coordinating with both internal teams and external consultants.
• Support asset management initiatives across existing holdings and developments, liaising with finance, development, and investor relations teams.
• Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders including brokers, lenders, legal counsel, planners, and other industry professionals.

Ideal profile:

• Minimum 3 years of experience in real estate investment, private equity, or investment banking.
• Undergraduate degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business (MBA or CFA designation is an asset).
• Familiarity with residential and multi-family development preferred.
• Strong proficiency in Excel and Microsoft Office, with the ability to produce institutional-grade analysis and presentations.
• Entrepreneurial mindset with a high level of professionalism, attention to detail, and a passion for real estate.
• Excellent communication skills (verbal and written).
• Self-starter who thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced environment and can manage competing priorities effectively.
