  • Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Microsoft 365 with expertise in Excel.
  • Familiarity with portfolio management systems, trading platforms, or investment technology is an asset, with willingness to develop proficiency.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Provide portfolio and administrative support for discretionary portfolio management services.
  • Process transactions (wires, EFTs, contributions, withdrawals, transfers) promptly.
  • Assist with account opening, onboarding, and document client communications for regulatory compliance.
  • Maintain accurate client records and ensure KYC/AML compliance; support meetings and portfolio reviews.
  • Collaborate with Portfolio Manager and client service teams to ensure seamless client experience.

THE OPPORTUNITY

We have an opportunity for an Investment Assistant to join our award-winning firm in the Vancouver office.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

In this role, you will join a Portfolio Manager and an existing assistant, providing dedicated support for discretionary portfolio management services to high-net-worth individuals.

The ideal candidate is client-focused and detail-oriented. You take ownership of your responsibilities, adapt to changing priorities, and contribute to a team culture that values client service and teamwork.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Portfolio and Administrative Support
  • Process transactions such as wires, EFTs, contributions, withdrawals, and transfers in a timely manner
  • Facilitate account opening and onboarding
  • Document transactions and client communications and ensure regulatory compliance
  • Maintain accurate records while protecting client confidentiality and privacy
  • Liaise with internal departments to facilitate client support
  • Update and maintain investment model spreadsheets and portfolio rebalancing
  • Support portfolio administration, rebalancing, and trading-related activities using portfolio management trading platforms
  • Attend internal research meetings and keep abreast of markets
Client Support and Relationship Management
  • Collaborate with the Portfolio Manager and client service teams to deliver seamless client experience and contribute to internal improvements

WHAT WE OFFER

We offer a competitive and equitable total rewards package, including mentorship programs and meaningful professional development to support your continued growth. The expected salary and commission range for this role is $70,000 – $80,000 per year, plus eligibility for a performance-based bonus.
