Job summary

CC&L Financial Group is seeking a Manager to join the Investment Insights (II) team to lead analytics that generate actionable investment insights across affiliates. You will guide analytics design, develop scalable solutions, and collaborate with investment managers to drive better decision-making.

You will lead analysts across Canada and India, leveraging Python, SQL, and AI tools, and apply ML to enhance performance, attribution, risk, and ESG analyses. Hybrid Toronto-based role.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in investment analytics or data science.
• 3+ years leading a performance/analytics/investment team.
• Experience with modern analytics pipelines and tools.

Responsibilities

• Create analytics to generate actionable investment insights.
• Lead analytics design and development across the lifecycle.
• Collaborate with investment managers and senior leadership to iterate on proofs of concept.
• Productionalize and scale analytics with Platform/Methodology teams.
• Leverage datasets to improve performance, attribution, risk, and ESG analyses.
• Apply AI where it adds value and communicate complex concepts clearly.
• Lead analysts across Canada and India and develop the team.
