Job description

A career as an Investment Analyst at National Bank Financial – Wealth Management, means that you’ll be part of a team of 1,000 investment advisors in the 5th largest investment brokerage firm in Canada. In this position, you’ll use your analytical mind and passion for finance to have a positive impact on our organization. Your role is to bring value to our clients by strategically managing their investments.


Your job


  1. Analyze and track individual stocks, exchange-traded funds, investment funds and other securities that may be included in investment portfolios
  2. Create and regularly update model portfolios
  3. Track portfolio performance
  4. Produce financial reports
  5. Stay up to date on the latest economic news
  6. Help managers prepare recommendations for new clients
  7. Contribute actively to the preparation of bi-monthly investment committee meetings

You’ll join a team of portfolio managers where you’ll play an essential role.

Prerequisites


  1. Bachelor's degree in Finance or a related field
  2. Three years of experience in the securities industry
  3. Successful completion of the Canadian Securities Course and the Conduct and Practices Handbook Course
  4. CFA and/or CIM designation
  5. Knowledge of Croesus 8+ asset
