Job summary

CIBC Edmonton-Palisades Sq Shpg Ctr seeks an Investment Specialist to build lasting client relationships and provide tailored investment planning advice. You’ll collaborate with Banking Centre teams to grow existing relationships and help clients meet financial goals through comprehensive planning and advice.

You will engage in local business development, community outreach, and marketing activities to strengthen CIBC’s presence in your market while delivering thoughtful client experiences.

Qualifications

• Must hold Mutual Funds License (Canadian Securities Course or Investment Funds in Canada).
• Within first year, complete either PFP or RRC; CFP or IQPF also acceptable.

Responsibilities

• Client Engagement: build strong connections with clients and provide personalised investment advice.
• Business Development: grow client base through local market activities and networking.
