Career opportunity :

The Investment Advisor plays a key role in the firm's client experience and overall growth. The role requires an individual responsible for managing client relationships and delivering financial advice while working closely with the Senior Investment Advisor. The role involves both financial planning and business development responsibilities. This opportunity is a permanent full-time role based out of our Winnipeg, Manitoba, office.

You will be responsible for :

  • Developing and delivering comprehensive financial plans for the team’s clients;
  • Leading client meetings and maintaining strong ongoing relationships;
  • Conducting investment research and staying up to date on market trends;
  • Collaborating with the Senior Investment Advisor on strategy and client service;
  • Contributing to the creation and presentation of content for client events;
  • Managing and following up on firm-generated leads and new business opportunities;
  • Actively participating in the business development process.

The ideal candidate for this position has :

  • Registered Representative (RR) with Canadian Investment Regulatory Organization (CIRO);
  • Certified Financial Planner designation an asset;
  • 2-5 yearsprior experience in a client-facing advisory or financial planning role;
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship management skills;
  • Exceptional client service orientation and communication ability;
  • Deep interest in helping others achieve financial well-being;
  • Strong organizational and time management capabilities;
  • High level of self-motivation and professional drive;
  • Resilience and adaptability under pressure;
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities;
  • Background in sales or business development is an asset.
