Summary

As an Investigator at Holt Renfrew in Calgary, you will play a crucial role in protecting company assets and ensuring a safe environment for clients and associates. You will be responsible for conducting investigations, monitoring security systems, and supporting the store's operational and sales teams.

Responsibilities

• Open and close the store following all Holt Renfrew procedures.
• Perform operational and inventory control audits to ensure compliance.
• Support operations and sales teams with inventory counts and shortage programs.
• Conduct routine floor walks and inspections to maintain business continuity.
• Monitor CCTV systems and dispatch as necessary.
• Conduct internal and external investigations and apprehend shoplifters.
• Testify at criminal proceedings as required.
• Comply with Health & Safety policies and respond to emergencies.
• Act as an advocate for Health and Safety in the store.

Requirements

• 1+ years of experience in Loss Prevention or Safety & Security roles.
• Valid provincial security license and standard first aid, CPR, and AED certificates.
• Strong customer service and approachability skills.
• Previous investigative and interview training is an asset.
• Problem-solving and de-escalation skills are an asset.
• Ability to maintain clear field notes and investigation reports.
