1sdistribution in Saint-Eustache is seeking an Inventory Technician to join our warehouse team. You will perform cycle counts, maintain accurate inventory records, and ensure proper organization of merchandise, with a focus on accuracy and efficiency.

Fluent in French and English, you will work in a dynamic environment, report to the Branch Manager, and contribute to continuous improvement of inventory management. A valid driver's license and access to a vehicle are required.

Responsibilities

  • Perform cycle counts and physical inventory counts.
  • Verify product quantities, locations, and identification.
  • Prepare and process material shipments to customers.
  • Place orders with suppliers.
  • Analyze and correct discrepancies between physical inventory and system records.
  • Perform inventory adjustments according to established procedures.
  • Ensure proper identification and organization of merchandise.
  • Verify the accuracy of incoming and outgoing inventory transactions.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date inventory information in the computer system.
  • Participate in improving inventory management methods and procedures.
  • Report any discrepancies, losses, damages, or situations that may affect inventory accuracy.
  • Perform other related tasks associated with inventory and warehouse operations.

Job description

We are looking for an Inventory Technician to join our team in Saint-Eustache.

Reporting to the Branch Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring inventory accuracy, performing physical counts, and keeping inventory information up to date in our systems.

We are looking for an organized, detail-oriented, and self-motivated individual who enjoys working in a dynamic environment and understands the importance of inventory accuracy to the smooth operation of the business.

Main Responsibilities
  • Perform cycle counts and physical inventory counts;
  • Verify product quantities, locations, and identification;
  • Prepare and process material shipments to customers;
  • Place orders with suppliers;
