Job summary

Roots is seeking a Stock Manager to oversee inventory flow, backroom organization, and replenishment for a flagship store in Ontario. You will train stock associates, optimize receipt processing, and collaborate with the Store Manager to deliver outstanding customer service and flawless merchandising.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in a management role preferably in retail apparel.
• Strong presentation and communication skills in a retail setting.
• Able to understand customer needs and build buy-in to actions or services.
• Experience training and developing stock associates or team members.

Responsibilities

• Own timely processing of merchandise receipts and improve systems and methods.
• Organize backroom to company standards and update seasonally.
• Oversee efficient replenishment to maintain full, varied sales floor.
• Monitor department changes and respond to sell-through and stock needs.
• Execute inventory-based procedures including damages, transfers, receiving and logs.
• Oversee supply orders and recruitment/development of stock associates.
