Position Summary
The Inventory, Receiving & Asset Tracking Clerk is responsible for receiving and processing equipment ordered by IST, located across campus and within computer labs and classrooms. This includes the physical receiving, confirmation, system processing and staging of this equipment for delivery. The clerk also assists with the return of equipment to the supplier. In addition, the incumbent assists with the tracking of university assets. Assets with an acquisition value greater than $5000 and assets that are less than $5000 that are defined as “desirable” are tracked and tagged within the Equipment Inventory database. The Clerk will collect paperwork from multiple sources and process within PeopleSoft.
The ideal candidate will prepare an inventory package that is sent to the equipment custodian for completion. The custodian will complete and return to the clerk to finalize the database update.
