Due to our company growth and expanding footprint, we are looking to add an
Inventory Receiver in Port Alberni, BC.
What We’re Looking For
As part of the Supply Chain department, the
Inventory Receiver position includes performing day-to-day receiving and outgoing tasks and restocking of inventory. Other duties include issuing shipment and routing instructions and tracking both inbound and outbound inventory.
Responsibilities
- Perform day-to-day receiving and outgoing tasks and restocking of inventory. This includes picking and packing parts/materials requests and ensuring all parts/materials are stored at the right location (Lot and Bin).
- Organization of inventory and attention to details and standards.
- Work with various departments to ensure steady flow of information throughout our supply chain.
- Accurately checking shipments against purchase orders, identifying discrepancies, and ensuring inventory records are correct.
- Participate in cycle counts and other measures to maintain accurate inventory levels and organization.
- Initiate inventory movement between warehouses or to external locations.
- Provide support for Logistics/Operations projects as assigned.
- Any ad hoc and other duties as required by the Supply Chain department.
- Ensure Coulson Group of Companies procedures and standards are being met.
Requirements
- High School Diploma required.
- 1–2 years of experience in a similar role, such as a receiving clerk, warehouse worker, or in another inventory-related position.
- 1-2 years of experience in clerical occupations that involve data entry, record maintenance, or inventory tracking.
- Experience in the aviation industry is preferred.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
- Ability to operate forklifts or other material handling equipment with appropriate certification and licenses.
- Strong time management skills.
- Good analytical thinking and judgement.
- Detail oriented.
- Ability to lift 40-50 lbs.

- $25-$35 an hour, depending on experience.
