Summary:

This position is responsible for ensuring inventory integrity in the retail location through cycle counting of sales floor and backroom stock, investigating variances, and adjusting inventory as necessary. Responsibilities include creating out-of-stock reports, investigating negative on-hand reports, and conducting other inventory checks and reports as assigned.

Responsibilities:
  1. Conduct sales floor and backroom cycle counts.
  2. Research and make inventory adjustments using various systems.
  3. Manage the scanned-out program.
  4. Investigate negative on-hand reports.
  5. Handle theft, empty packages, stock adjustments, and related errors and requests.
  6. Set and adjust sales floor min/max and replenishment flags.
  7. Assist customers in finding merchandise and making buying decisions during store hours.
  8. Perform other duties as assigned by management and team lead.
Qualifications:
  • At least one year of retail experience in warehouse/inventory management.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Proficiency with personal computers and software including Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
  • Attention to detail for accuracy.
  • Good judgment and logical thinking.
  • Experience in related fields or outdoor lifestyle preferred.
  • Knowledge of Bass Pro Shops & Cabela’s products is a plus.
