Job summary

ChamClad, a division of Wausau Supply Company, is seeking an Inventory Control Coordinator in Edmonton, Alberta, to join our growing building materials team. This entry-level role helps maintain accurate inventory records, supports warehouse operations, and ensures inventory is available to meet customer and business needs.

You will work closely with warehouse staff, purchasing, and operations to monitor inventory levels, perform cycle counts, investigate discrepancies, and support inventory

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Excel and Outlook.
• Ability to perform numerical calculations accurately.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate inventory records within the company’s inventory management system.
• Monitor inventory levels and assist with replenishment activities.
• Verify inventory transactions, including receipts, returns, transfers, and adjustments.
• Support physical inventory counts and year-end inventory processes.
• Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies in a timely manner.
• Coordinate with warehouse personnel to locate and verify inventory.
• Support receiving by validating incoming shipments against purchase orders.
• Assist with inventory organization and storage practices to improve efficiency.
• Prepare inventory reports and spreadsheets as required.
• Update inventory records and maintain supporting documentation.
