Job summary

NRI in Kamloops, BC is hiring an Inventory Cycle Counter to ensure accuracy of stock counts across client shipments. You will count designated locations and help resolve inventory issues while learning our WMS.

No prior warehouse experience is required; we value reliability, attention to detail, and the ability to work safely in a busy warehouse environment. Shifts are Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, with opportunities to grow within the company.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older to apply.
• Must have physical ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs, and stand/walk for extended periods.
• Ability to learn our basic warehouse management scanning system (WMS).
• Must be a high-compliance and accurate individual.
• Strong attention to detail and time management.
• Flexible and able to adapt to changing priorities.
• Trustworthy with a strong moral character.

Responsibilities

• Accurately counts designated locations for clients on the cycle count program.
• Accurately counts designated locations for auto-generated queued containers to help resolve inventory issues.
• Assists in the Lost and Found investigation process.
• Follows NRI safety rules, safety procedures, security protocol and standard operating procedures (SOP).
• Keeps work and storage areas in a safe, clean, and tidy condition at all times.
• Performs other duties as requested.

A Day in the Life

As an Inventory Cycle Counter, you will play an important part of the Inventory team by ensuring accuracy of inventory counts. You’ll be working with products from awesome clients that are heavily involved in the active lifestyle.

What does success look like in this role?

The ideal candidate has the ability to accurately count and call out issues while performing their task. They must be able to communicate effectively with the inventory team so issues are addressed immediately.

Shifts : Monday - Friday 7:00AM - 3:30PM

• No previous warehouse experience is required but it is always a plus!

• Ability to learn our basic warehouse management scanning system (WMS)

• Must be a high-compliant and accurate individual

• Strong attention to detail and time management skills

• Has the ability to be flexible and adapt to changing priorities

The Must Haves:

• Must be 18 years or older to apply

• Must have physical ability to carry out essential job functions, including but not limited to, the ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs., walking and standing for extended periods, climbing ladders/stairs, ok with heights in elevated areas and tolerating conditions such as dust, dirt, noise, odors, heat, cold, etc.
