Qualifications

Job description

Reporting to the Materials Team Lead, the Inventory Controller II performs daily inventory control activities as well as assisting the Materials Team Lead with projects and process improvements.

What will you do as an Inventory Controller II?
  • Adheres to ESD protection and ensures that electronics and optics are handled appropriately.
  • Involved in daily shared inventory tasks including kitting, picking, inventory replenishment, stock putaway and product label printing.
  • Uses RF Scanner to process daily inventory tasks.
  • Performs raw material picking for outbound sales orders.
  • Controls disposal, monitoring, and pickup arrangements for all chemical recycling.
  • Manage Consumable Inventory in production, ensure parts are ordered and replenished within appropriate lead time.
  • Process non-conformance parts for Quality review.
  • Carries out inventory cycle counting activities and works with team lead to coordinate inventory quarterly and annual count activities.
  • Ensures no unauthorized part movement without an appropriate inventory transaction in Netsuite.
  • Monitors, reports and follows up on floor shortages until parts are received.
  • Processing inventory adjustments for cross department requests. Accurately correlating adjustment to proper accounts and approval process.
  • Organizes both raw material inventory and consumable inventory, ensuring that they are labeled, clean, and accessible at all times. Updates Netsuite accordingly.
  • Processes change order requests for version changes, product lifecycle changes, and new product implementations.
  • Support cross department functions within the Logistics team.
  • Proactively contributes to continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Adheres to LMI Employee Policy Manual.
What do you need to be successful?
  • Post secondary technical diploma.
  • 3+ years of experience working with electrical components.
  • 3+ years of Inventory/Stockroom experience.
  • 1+ year of experience using an ERP system.
  • Experience in a production or manufacturing environment is preferred.
  • Experience in an ESD-safe environment is preferred.
  • Experience with RF Smart tools would be an asset.
  • Good written and oral communication skills.
  • Good computer skills.
  • Proven track record of quality and performance.
  • Good attention to detail.
  • Must be able to lift 50lbs.

Salary Range: $45,100- $64,353
