Job summary

Varius Business Solutions is seeking an Inventory Control Specialist to own the inventory count schedule, resolve variances, and keep SAP and WMS data accurate. You’ll work across Receiving, Material Handlers, and the Inventory Analyst to fix discrepancies and improve controls.

Successful candidates will be detail oriented, analytical, and capable of communicating results clearly while supporting continuous improvement in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

Qualifications

• Education or training in business, supply chain, inventory, or management.
• Inventory experience in a warehouse environment.
• Hands on warehouse WMS experience.
• SAP experience is a strong asset.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
• Experience operating reach or forklift equipment.
• Experience auditing and guiding the work of others.
• Strong communication, analytical, and time management skills.
• Supply Chain certificate, or inventory leadership experience, is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Own the inventory count schedule and ensure daily/monthly targets are met.
• Investigate, adjust, and report variances with clear results.
• Use SAP and the WMS to review reports and keep inventory status current.
• Analyze processes and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Coordinate with Receiving, Inventory Analyst, and Material Handlers on counts and discrepancies.
