Job description

The ideal candidate is aself-starter and team-oriented individualpossessing a strong work ethic, who will serve as liaison between warehouse operations, replenishment and purchasing teams to address inventory-related challenges.

Responsibilities

  • Lead or support initiatives to improve overall warehouse operation and effective warehousing.
  • Supporting MOC operations in driving business improvement.
  • Maintain, monitor, and update inventory databases using inventory control software (D365), ensuring real-time accuracy and traceability of stock movement.
  • Investigate and resolve inventory variances, including misplaced, damaged, or missing stock, and report findings to the relevant departments.
  • Proactively identify process bottlenecks and inefficiencies in inventory management workflows and suggest innovative solutions.
  • Serve as a liaison between warehouse operations, Replenishment and Purchasing teams to address inventory-related challenges.
  • Safety Compliance - Follow all safety guidelines and protocols to ensure a safe working environment. Report any unsafe conditions or incidents and participate in safety training and drills.
  • Utilize advanced analytics tools to transform raw data into actionable insights that optimize stock levels and predict trends.
  • Continuously identify and implement process improvements—drawing from lean principles and cross-departmental collaboration to drive efficiency and reduce waste.

Qualifications

  • Good communication
  • Well-organized with proven ability to manage deadlines and priorities
  • Great attention to detail with strong cognitive skills
  • Experience using Microsoft Office including Excel and Power Point
  • Proficiency in inventory management systems
  • Strong understanding of data entry, inventory tracking methods, and basic financial principles related to inventory valuation.
  • Problem-Solving : Ability to identify and resolve issues related to inventory inaccuracies.
  • Green or Yellow Belt certification is an asset
