What will you do?

  • Learn and grow as an important part of a team that cares about Reliance and its customers.
  • Protection of warehouse inventory, both physical and in system, leading to a goal of $0 inventory loss.
  • Maintain adequate inventory levels at all times to ensure field sales and operations needs.
  • Coordinating with managers for the timely procurement and channelized distribution of inventory.
  • Monitoring and optimizing the inventory turnover ratio.
  • Staging or overseeing the staging of daily equipment for installations.
  • Overseeing or carrying out the loading and unloading of inventory.
  • Ensure all inventory information is entered into the inventory tracking program.
  • Compile and complete purchase orders for new inventory.
  • Ensure scanning of all inventory both into and out of the warehouse.
  • Act as contact person for inbound warehouse requests from external departments.
  • Offer timely follow-up and resolution to customers, contractors, and external departments inquiries.
  • Perform physical inventory and cycle counts and reconcile to systems.
  • Provide reporting as required.

  • Required to lift and maneuver supplies up to 75 lbs and over with the assistance of material handling equipment.
  • Must have a valid class G driver’s license.
