Job summary

Reliance Home Comfort is seeking an Inventory Control Clerk to protect and manage warehouse inventory, ensuring accuracy in physical stock and in the inventory management system. The role supports field operations by maintaining stock levels and coordinating with managers for procurement and distribution.

Responsibilities include counting, data entry, order processing, and reporting, with a focus on minimizing losses and optimizing turnover.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Protect warehouse inventory (physical and system) to minimize losses.
• Maintain adequate inventory levels to support field needs.
• Coordinate with managers for procurement and distribution.
• Monitor and optimize inventory turnover.
• Oversee daily equipment staging for installations.
• Manage loading/unloading of inventory.
• Enter inventory data into tracking system.
• Prepare purchase orders for new inventory.
• Ensure inventory is scanned in/out of warehouse.
• Serve as contact for inbound warehouse requests.
• Provide timely follow-up on inquiries.
• Perform physical inventory and counts; reconcile to systems.
• Produce reports as required.

What will you do?

• Learn and grow as an important part of a team that cares about Reliance and its customers.
• Protection of warehouse inventory, both physical and in system, leading to a goal of $0 inventory loss
• Maintain adequate inventory levels at all times to ensure field sales and operations needs
• Coordinating with managers for the timely procurement and channelized distribution of inventory
• Monitoring and optimizing the inventory turnover ratio
• Staging or overseeing the staging of daily equipment for installations
• Overseeing or carrying out the Loading and unloading of inventory
• Ensure all inventory information is entered into inventory tracking program
• Compile and complete purchase orders for new inventory
• Ensure scanning of all inventory both into, and out of, the warehouse
• Act as contact person for inbound warehouse requests from external departments
• Offer timely follow up and resolution to customers, contractors, and external departments inquires
• Perform Physical inventory and Cycle counts and reconcile to systems
• Provide reporting as required
