Job description

Job Title: Inventory Control Assistant

Location: Morningside & Lawrence
Shift/Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:00 am - 3:30 pm

Pay Rate: $20.00/hr

Assignment Information:

The Inventory Control Associate has many essential duties and responsibilities to ensure items are accurately stocked, recorded, and stored, including ensuring the production department has all products and materials available to ensure the Production Schedule is followed. This is done through strict management of all inventory levels and clients' SAP systems.

Responsibilities:

  • Liaise between Client Supply Chain and Production Teams.
  • Perform clerical functions such as answering calls, entering data into computers (knowledge of Advanced Excel and SAP), and helping customers.
  • Maintain and update required inventory levels for products and materials.
  • Verify receipt of products & materials from suppliers.
  • Prepare a daily report on all production for the previous day and publish it to all stakeholders.
  • Conduct reconciliations of all completed projects.
  • Perform cycle counts on all component inventory to minimize discrepancies in counts.
  • Ensure the production lines are being utilized to maximize efficiencies.
  • Other duties as assigned.
