AGI is a global company publicly traded in Canada, and we are expanding! We currently have over 100 employees operating out of a 200,000 square foot manufacturing facility in Nobleford, Alberta (approx. 20 mins north of Lethbridge) and will be adding multiple positions as part of our expansion. We manufacture Westeel petroleum storage tanks and are Canada’s largest manufacturer of grain aeration and natural air grain drying equipment.

The Opportunity
We are actively seeking an Inventory Clerk/Material Handler to join our manufacturing team within our facility in Nobleford, Alberta (approx. 20 mins north of Lethbridge).

The Team
The role will report to the Production Supervisor.

Responsibilities

1. Complete administrative tasks related to inventory control
2. Organize inventory information and documentation
3. Operate Forklift equipment to load vans, trailers, flat decks, and sea cans
4. Package and stage material in a timely manner to meet delivery deadlines and customer commitments
5. Prepare pertinent documentation for shipment of goods
6. Ensure warehouse and shipping areas are clean and free from obstacles
7. Report any damages to product prior to loading
8. Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

1. Previous administrative experience
2. Proven organizational skills and the ability to prioritize
3. 1 – 2 years experience with material handling or shipping/receiving is an asset
4. Attention to detail and accuracy
5. Physical ability to lift heavy objects and work both inside and outside
6. Basic mathematics (addition, subtraction)
7. Ability to read, write, and interpret the English language
8. Strong work ethic and drive
9. Exceptional attention to detail
