Job description

Liburdi Turbine Services provides mechanical and metallurgical engineering services specifically tailored for the gas turbine industry. This allows us to perform an independent analysis of problems and, where required, to modify or redesign components. Our expertise lies in the fields of aerodynamics, thermodynamics, heat transfer, stress analysis, metallurgy, and mechanical design as they apply to aircraft and land-based gas turbines. We are currently seeking a qualified candidate for the role of Inventory Clerk . This position reports to the Manager of Air and Space Systems. Liburdi Turbine Services offers competitive wages. The typical hours are Monday to Friday, 8 : 00 am to 4 : 30 pm.

Typical Duties Include (but are not limited to) :

  • Maintaining and updating records, monitoring inventory levels as materials, equipment, and stock are issued or transferred to the floor.
  • Using ERP software for inventory transactions.
  • Auditing inventory levels and adjusting stock to meet demand.
  • Monitoring floor stock levels, ordering required parts, and replenishing low-level stock.
  • Cycle counting of stock components and machine items.
  • Reconciling actual stock counts with computer-generated reports.
  • Reporting discrepancies between physical counts and computer records.
  • Developing and improving existing inventory procedures.
  • Generating part numbers for inventory items.

Key Experience :

  • Minimum 2-3 years of inventory experience
  • Minimum 2-3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel
  • Knowledge of ERP software is required
  • Experience with Microsoft Dynamics Great Plains is an asset
  • Forklift certification is an asset
