Position: Inventory and logistics coordinator

Location: London, ON (full-time in office)

Hours of work: 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM

Reporting to the Production Planning and Logistics Manager, the Inventory and Logistics Coordinator will manage inventory and shipping at our London location.

Main Job Responsibilities
  • Track incoming merchandise, verify delivery and storage
  • Enter data, adjust inventory, print inventory tags
  • Ensure proper storage according to 5S lean manufacturing principles
  • Conduct inventory cycle counts and investigate discrepancies
  • Perform full inventory counts
  • Reconcile rebar and coils, ensure bundles are closed
  • Identify shortages and recommend purchases to Procurement
  • Create sales orders, BOLs, and prepare shipping documents for next-day deliveries
  • Coordinate activities of drivers and maintenance staff
  • Call customers when orders are ready for pickup
  • Perform other administrative tasks
Qualifications
  • 2-3 years of experience in logistics
  • Experience with Sage/ASA is an asset
  • Proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets
