Qualifications

• Current practicing registration as a Registered Nurse with BCCNM.
• Completion of a recognized high acuity specialty nursing certificate and one year of related high acuity experience.
• Current CPR certificate.

Responsibilities

• Provides individualized nursing care before and after interventional procedures in the Interventional Radiology unit.
• Assists physicians during examinations and sedation, and manages airway when needed.
• Responds to emergencies including CPR and stabilizes patients as required.
• Documents observations and maintains records in accordance with procedures.
• Collaborates with the interprofessional team to coordinate patient care and discharge planning.
