Job summary

Pratt & Whitney Canada in Longueuil, Quebec invites engineering interns to join a hands-on program focused on gas turbine development and certification. You will assist development engineers with preparation and assembly tasks, collaborate on engine setups, identify instrumentation points, and help maintain the instrumentation database for the new engine program.

Internship runs January 5 to April 23, 2027, on-site, Monday to Friday.

Qualifications

  • Be eligible to work in Canada.
  • Be enrolled in a Canadian university throughout your internship.
  • Be able to work on-site in the province where you are hired if applicable.
  • Pursuing a degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering.
  • Knowledge of engineering mathematics, mechanics, geometric tolerancing, manufacturing methods, physics and strength of materials.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team.

Responsibilities

  • Assist development engineers in preparing certification tests.
  • Collaborate with engineers on gas turbine engine setup and preparation.
  • Identify and manage instrumentation points in test documents according to naming conventions.
  • Manage and update the instrumentation points database for the new engine program.

Internship dates: January 5th to April 23rd, 2027

Location: The position is based at our Longueuil (plant 1) location; internship from Monday to Friday, with flexible hours and exclusively on-site.
