Job summary

MNP is seeking a Manager to join its International Tax team in Canada. The role focuses on delivering customized tax strategies within a complex regulatory environment and advising on cross-border structures and compliance for Canadian entities operating abroad.

You will mentor teams, drive engagement quality, and contribute to business development while leveraging deep knowledge of international tax regulations to minimize global tax liability for clients.

Qualifications

• Enrollment in the CPA In-Depth Tax program.
• Working knowledge of international tax including planning and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Lead client-facing engagement teams on tax planning and compliance for Canadian entities operating abroad.
• Deliver offshore tax expertise through client interactions, reports, and high-quality deliverables.
• Assist organizations in selecting effective corporate structures from a tax perspective across countries.
• Perform due diligence or modeling for acquisitions of international subsidiaries or partnerships.
• Manage a portfolio of clients, understanding business risks and delivering value.
• Oversee engagement planning, scheduling, and project financials.
