Job summary

Airmedic in Quebec is seeking an International Commercial Flight Nurse to join our repatriation program on commercial flights. The role offers a short-term stay of 3-5 days per assignment, with travel to destinations as required and the flexibility to supplement your main job.

You will accompany patients, deliver BLS-level care, and ensure safety and comfort throughout the journey while our team coordinates logistics, housing, and travel arrangements.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of emergency or intensive care experience.
• Nursing degree: DEC or Bachelor's degree.
• CV and proof of registration with the OIIQ.
• Passport valid for at least 6 months after departure.
• Comprehensive travel insurance required.
• No criminal record that would impede travel to the United States or internationally.
• Candidates from all over Quebec welcome.

Responsibilities

• Accompany patients on international repatriations by commercial flight.
• Ensure patient safety, well-being, and quality of care during the trip.
• Provide bedside care (BLS level) during transit.

Status: Casual

WHO ARE YOU?

• Be available for a minimum of 2 to 5 consecutive days
• You can experience it for a single flight or more ;)
• Intermediate to advanced English level
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in emergency or intensive care
• Completed DEC or Bachelor's degree in nursing
• Provide a CV and proof of registration with the OIIQ
• Hold a valid passport for at least 6 months after the departure date
• Hold comprehensive travel insurance
• No criminal record should impede the ability to travel to the United States and internationally;
• Candidates can come from all over Quebec

REMUNERATION:

• Daily allowance per 24-hour period
• Accommodation and travel expenses covered
