Job summary

Manulife is seeking an Internal Insurance Wholesaler in Vancouver to collaborate with External Wholesalers and grow sales of life and living benefits products. You will engage financial advisors, meet activity targets, and leverage Salesforce for advisor data and collaborative campaigns.

The role requires at least 2 years in insurance/sales, proficiency with Salesforce and Excel, and strong communication. Hybrid work is offered with competitive pay and incentives.

Qualifications

  • At least 2 years insurance/sales experience.
  • Proven proactive sales success and experience cold calling.
  • LLQP designation preferred (or in process).
  • College or University degree in related field or equivalent work experience.
  • Familiarity with Salesforce, Microsoft Office, including intermediate level of Excel.
  • Ability to multi-task and pay attention to detail.
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
  • Well-organized, self-starter with high energy and creativity.
  • Innovative marketing and problem-solving skills.
  • Excels in a collaborative and challenging environment with a strong desire to win.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Valid driver's license and access to a vehicle as occasional travel may be necessary

Responsibilities

  • Pro-active outbound calling to financial advisors to develop, maintain and expand current advisor relationships and build new ones.
  • Meet outbound calls daily targets for sales calls and meetings booked.
  • Gather intelligence on an advisor’s practice through a question based selling model.
  • Optimize delivery of value-added products, service and advice while enhancing sales efforts through consultation and demonstrating the merits of Manulife products and services.
  • Executing sales campaigns and determining who your top prospects are and creating a plan to execute on.
  • Using Salesforce.com to create and maintain advisor profiles and data on current and proposed activity and sharing business leads and ideas with peers.
  • Participate in a Manulife proprietary continuous training program.

As an Internal Wholesaler, you’ll collaborate with External Wholesalers to manage a regional sales territory, strengthen advisor relationships, and uncover new opportunities to grow individual life and living benefits insurance sales. Working Arrangement

The compensation for this role includes salary and sales incentives and is expected to be between

$73,500.00 CAD - $103,500.00 CAD

Employees participate in sales incentive programs and earn incentive compensation based on role-specific criteria. Actual compensation will vary depending on individual performance, sales results, local market conditions as well as relevant job-related factors such as knowledge, skills, qualifications, experience, and education/training.
