Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians of Canada (FRCPC) - Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology or equivalent - Mandatory
ERCP/EUS skills an asset
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) - Desired
• Current College of Physicians and Surgeons of British Columbia (CPSBC) License - Mandatory
• Full Canadian Medical Protective Association (CMPA) - Mandatory

Come work as an Inpatient Gastroenterology Consultant with Vancouver Coastal Health (VCH)!
An opportunity exists for a Gastroenterologist to practice as an Inpatient Gastroenterology Consultant (Gastroenterology Hospitalist) at Lion’s Gate Hospital, North Vancouver, BC.
The successful applicant will be responsible for acute inpatient gastroenterology consultations including emergency and urgent inpatient endoscopy. This position does not include any elective outpatient endoscopy provisions or privileges.
Start date: As soon as possible
Hours of Work: Full time
Work hours: 7AM to 5PM Mon to Friday. 1 in 6 weekends on call. Weekend on call rota to be shared with other Division members.
Compensation Type: Fee-for-Service and daily MOCAP stipend
