Role and Facility Information

Practice Details

Are you a dedicated physician ready to make a real impact in allergy and immunology, while enjoying the lifestyle of Western Canada? Kelowna, known for its stunning landscapes, sunny weather, and close-knit community, is seeking a Clinical Immunology & Allergy Specialist to join our healthcare team as a permanent or locum physician.

In this role, you will provide both outpatient care for adults and children within the community, as well as inpatient consultative services at Kelowna General Hospital, a leading institution serving a community of over 800,000 people. You will work alongside a network of local specialists and allergists, ensuring collaborative support and a well-rounded caseload. This is an ideal position for someone with an interest in immunodeficiencies, autoimmune diseases, and allergies.

In this role you will see an average of 20 patients per day in a full‑time role and have an opportunity to join an established practice with shared overhead. On‑site and virtual support from local and provincial allergists ensures continuous professional development, while fostering an environment focused on high‑quality care.

Beyond patient care, this position offers research opportunities and the chance to collaborate with the Southern Medical Program and the Division of Allergy and Clinical Immunology at UBC, creating space for academic growth and innovative research.

Kelowna offers a balanced lifestyle, where you can build strong relationships with patients and colleagues, enjoy outdoor adventures, and immerse yourself in a community that truly welcomes you. Take advantage of an enriching career and an exceptional quality of life.
