Job summary

Wealthsimple seeks a Manager, Internal Controls to build and run our ICFR program, ensuring regulatory obligations are met while scaling a robust control environment. You will own the control framework, documentation, and testing, coordinating with Finance, Operations and Engineering to ensure controls are designed, implemented and operating effectively.

Qualifications

• Experience implementing and operating internal controls over financial reporting (ICFR).
• Ability to document processes, control narratives and testing procedures.
• Strong collaboration across Finance, Operations and Engineering to scale controls.

Responsibilities

• Own the ICFR framework and testing program for existing processes and new product launches.
• Develop process narratives, control maps, RCMs and test scripts with external advisors.
• Plan and direct walkthroughs and testing aligned to the annual ICFR plan, in-house or outsourced.
