Qualifications

• University degree in business or related field required.
• 3+ years' experience in an audit or accounting/finance role.
• Experience with external and internal audits is an asset; Big 4 background preferred.
• Financial industry experience is a strong asset.
• Public accounting firm experience is a strong asset.
• Ability to build effective relationships with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Manage and supervise assigned audit engagements from planning through completion, ensuring timely delivery of audit objectives.
• Collaborate with engagement teams and business stakeholders to plan audit activities, perform testing, resolve issues.
• Conduct risk assessments and develop comprehensive audit plans addressing key financial, operational, compliance, and control risks.
• Analyze financial statements and supporting records to assess accuracy and adherence to accounting principles and regulations.
• Examine financial and operational documents to identify errors, misstatements, irregularities, and control weaknesses.
• Prepare and maintain audit workpapers documenting procedures, evidence, findings, and conclusions.
• Follow up on management action plans and monitor resolution of audit findings.
• Support special audits and internal initiatives while maintaining independence and ethics.
