We've been at this since 1970, challenging the conventions of traditional banking with smarter, faster, and more connected financial experiences.

We can’t wait to get to know you!

Work Term: January - April 2027

The Intern, Product Marketing Student supports the planning, development and execution of marketing initiatives across EQB’s credit card and deposit portfolios. Working across both customer acquisition and lifecycle marketing, the role contributes to a broad range of campaigns, customer communications, product launches, offers and portfolio priorities.

This is a flexible, hands-on role designed to provide support where it is most needed across the Product Marketing team. The co-op student will work with Marketing leaders and cross-functional partners to help move initiatives from planning through execution, while gaining exposure to product marketing within a growing financial services organization.

  • Support the planning and execution of product marketing initiatives across credit cards and deposits, including acquisition, onboarding, engagement, usage, cross-sell, retention and customer communications.
    • Assist with campaign development from briefing through launch, including coordinating inputs, creative development, timelines, reviews, approvals and implementation.
      • Help develop and proofread customer-facing marketing materials across channels such as email, digital, in-app, website, paid media, partner channels and internal communications.
        • Coordinate with internal partners, including Product, Digital, Data and Analytics, Legal, Compliance, Finance and Operations, as well as external agency partners, to support timely and accurate delivery.
          • Conduct market, competitor and customer research and summarize findings to support product positioning, value propositions, campaign planning and optimization.
            • Assist with campaign tracking and reporting by gathering results, organizing data and identifying initial insights, trends and opportunities.
              • Support customer journey and test-and-learn initiatives intended to improve marketing effectiveness and the customer experience.
                • Help maintain project plans, marketing calendars, status updates, campaign documentation and approval records.
                  • Assist with budget administration, including invoice coordination, expense tracking and reconciliation.
                    • Prepare presentations, meeting materials and updates for Product Marketing leaders and cross-functional partners.
                      • Provide general support across the Product Marketing team and take on additional assignments based on evolving business priorities.
    • Currently enrolled in a post‑secondary program in Marketing, Business, Commerce, Communications or a related field, with eligibility to participate in a co-op work term.
      • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly PowerPoint, Excel, Word and Outlook.
        • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including careful proofreading and attention to detail.
          • Strong organization, time management and project coordination skills, with the ability to manage multiple assignments and deadlines.
            • Analytical and problem‑solving skills, with an interest in using customer, market and performance information to support decisions.
              • Curiosity about marketing, customer behaviour, financial services and digital products.
                • Collaborative and comfortable working with different teams and stakeholders.
                  • Proactive, adaptable and willing to learn in an environment where priorities may change.
