Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor’s or master's degree in Finance, Mathematics, Data Science, Computer Science, or related quantitative field.
• Interest in the asset management industry and investment analytics.
• Familiarity with Python, R, SQL, or PowerBI is an asset.
• Foundational data skills: ability to query and analyze data and grow data science skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist in research and propose new analytic methodologies to enhance decision-making.
• Help develop scalable investment analytics (performance, attribution, risk, exposure) and build visualizations/BI outputs.
• Support data engineering tasks to strengthen data pipelines and improve processes.
• Explore AI applications such as financial modelling, anomaly detection, and NLP querying.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a high-impact, high-skill team whose scope and impact continue to grow.**What You Will Do**In this position, you will support our team's analytics discovery and platform digital transformation efforts. You will work with project leads to explore ideas for insight generation, applying your investment analytics and data science knowledge to support affiliates' investment processes. You will also contribute to the modernization of our analytics platform, supporting its methodology, design, and implementation. Key responsibilities for this business role include:* Assist in research and propose new analytic methodologies; identify opportunities to enhance decision-making and expand our analytics offering.* Assist in developing scalable investment analytics (e.g., performance, attribution, risk, exposure, modeling), including transforming data and preparing/building data visualizations and business intelligence outputs.* Support process and workflow improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce risk, including assisting with data engineering tasks that strengthen data pipelines.* Propose and apply AI where it adds value, such as in financial modelling, anomaly detection, and natural-language database querying.**What You Bring*** **Education –** Pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Finance, Mathematics, Data Science, Computer Science, or a related quantitative field.* **Interest in the Industry –** Curiosity about the asset management industry and investment analytics. Prior exposure is a bonus but not required.* **Passion for Technology –** Enjoy working with data and are eager to develop skills in extracting insights through technology. The salary range provided reflects the base salary range for this position as required by legislation.
