Job summary

Bombardier Transportation GmbH invites students to join as an Intern, Information Systems Analyst (Winter 2027). You will analyze data, clean and validate sources, and design automated workflows with Power Platform to support decision-making.

Gain hands-on experience with Power BI, Power Automate and ServiceNow while collaborating with IT and business teams in a hybrid, 12-month program. Strong analytical skills and bilingual FR/EN are encouraged.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in a bachelor's or master's degree in Information Systems or related field.
• Strong analytical and data-cleaning abilities.
• Familiar with Excel; knowledge of Power BI/Power Automate/Power Apps is a plus.
• Good French and English communication.
• Curious, detail-oriented and proactive.

Responsibilities

• Analyze operational and system data to identify inconsistencies, duplicates, gaps and opportunities for improvement using powerBI.
• Support data cleanup and remediation activities across business and IT systems.
• Develop and maintain Power-Automated workflows to reduce manual effort, improve accuracy and streamline recurring activities.
• Use and combine tools such as ServiceNow, Power Automate, Power BI, Excel and scripting technologies to automate processes and transform data.
• Create dashboards, reports and performance indicators that provide visibility into data quality, progress and operational results.
• Collect, structure, validate and reconcile data from multiple sources to support reliable analysis and decision-making.

What are your contributions to the team?

• Identify and propose new tools, automation opportunities and process improvements that simplify daily work.
• Contribute, when required, to application monitoring, operational resilience and continuous‑improvement activities.

During your internship, you will learn:

How to thrive in this role?

• You are enrolled in a bachelor's or master's degree in Information Systems, Business Analytics, Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related field.
• You have strong analytical skills and are comfortable working with structured data, identifying patterns and investigating inconsistencies.
• You are familiar with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel; knowledge of Power BI, Power Automate or Power Apps would be considered a strong asset.
• You have knowledge of programming, scripting, SQL or data‑transformation concepts; this would be considered an asset.
• You have a good command of French and English, both spoken and written.
• You demonstrate curiosity, attention to detail and a structured approach to problem‑solving.
• You communicate effectively, collaborate well with multidisciplinary teams and are comfortable documenting your work.
• You are proactive, organized and motivated to learn new tools and technologies.
