Job summary

Bombardier Transportation GmbH in Dorval, QC invites students to join as an Intern, Electromechanical EWIS Design (EWIS) (Winter 2027). You will contribute to the design of electrical harnesses for business jet aircraft and learn EWIS processes.

The role covers 3D modeling, routing, installation drawings, and change management. Proficiency in French and English, plus knowledge of CATIA V5 or NX, and Excel VBA or MS Project, are a plus.

Qualifications

• Student enrolled in a relevant engineering degree.
• Bilingual in French and English preferred.
• Interest in aerospace EWIS and electrical harness design.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to the design of electrical harnesses for business jet aircraft.
• Learn EWIS process and contribute on harness 3D modeling and harness Install drawing.
• Develop 3D EWIS harness routing, including routing, support design, component placement, assemblies, installation drawings, and detail drawings
• Support Change management activity.
• Contribute by participating in other tasks depending on teams’ needs and demonstrate flexibility to adapt.

How to thrive in this role?

• You speak French and English
• You are undertaking a university degree in Aerospace Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Industrial Engineering.
• You have knowledge of computer software such as Microsoft Excel (VBA) and Microsoft Project; Catia V5 and NX would be a real plus.
• You are autodidact.
• You have a strong interest in programming, project management, change management and electrical wiring in aerospace.
