Job summary

Pomerleau is offering a BIM/VDC Coordinator Intern role within the Civil & Infrastructure Operations Innovation team. You will contribute to the digital transformation of infrastructure projects by supporting data analysis, digital model coordination, and process automation.

You will develop expertise in VDC, BIM, data analytics, and construction technologies while working on large-scale projects that shape the built environment, with mentorship and potential for full-time opportunities.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in a relevant degree program in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or related field.
• Strong understanding of construction processes and terminology.
• Proficient in BIM software and VDC tools.

Responsibilities

• Implement VDC processes and BIM technologies in ongoing projects.
• Collaborate with project teams for requirements analysis.
• Produce and coordinate 3D models using BIM software.
• Prepare and present project documentation and reports.
• Ensure compliance with VDC standards and stay updated on industry trends.
• Cultivate strong relationships with trade partners, consultants, and clients.

To be eligible for Pomerleau’s internship program, you must meet the following criteria:

• Be legally authorized to work in Canada at the time of application and for the entire duration of the internship.
• Reside in Canada at the time of application and for the entire duration of the internship.
• Be duly enrolled in a Canadian post-secondary institution or have graduated from such an institution within no more than six (6) months prior to the internship start date.

You will support data analysis, digital model coordination, process automation, reality capture, and the deployment of innovative solutions.
