Job summary

Pomerleau in Canada is offering a BIM/VDC Coordinator Intern position within the Civil & Infrastructure Operations Innovation team. You will contribute to the digital transformation of infrastructure projects, support data analysis, model coordination, and process automation while developing expertise in VDC, BIM, and construction technologies.

Ideal candidates are enrolled in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or related fields and are eager to work on large-scale

Qualifications

• Enrolled in a degree program in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture or related field.
• Strong understanding of construction processes and terminology.
• Proficient with BIM software and VDC tools.
• Excellent communication, teamwork and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Implement VDC processes and BIM technologies in ongoing projects.
• Collaborate with project teams for requirements analysis.
• Produce and coordinate 3D models using BIM software.

To be eligible for Pomerleau’s internship program, you must meet the following criteria:

• Be legally authorized to work in Canada at the time of application and for the entire duration of the internship.
• Reside in Canada at the time of application and for the entire duration of the internship.
• Be duly enrolled in a Canadian post-secondary institution or have graduated from such an institution within no more than six (6) months prior to the internship start date.

Join Pomerleau as a BIM/VDC Coordinator Intern within the Civil & Infrastructure Operations Innovation team and contribute to the digital transformation of infrastructure projects. You will support data analysis, digital model coordination, process automation, reality capture, and the deployment of innovative solutions. This is a unique opportunity to develop your expertise in VDC, BIM, data analytics, and construction technologies while contributing to large-scale projects that shape the future of our built environment.
