Job summary

EQ Bank | Canada's Challenger Bank is offering an internship within the AI Enablement Center for 2027. You will coordinate AI training programs, track certifications, and organize workshops with vendors and internal teams.

You’ll gain exposure to enterprise AI strategy, governance, and change management in a regulated financial services setting while developing communications, data tracking, and enablement materials.

Qualifications

  • Currently enrolled in or recently completed a post-secondary program in Business, Communications, Information Technology, Data Analytics, or a related field.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines simultaneously.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills with the ability to create clear, engaging content for diverse audiences.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft 365 tools (Outlook, Teams, SharePoint, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Interest in artificial intelligence, emerging technology, and enterprise digital transformation.
  • Comfort working with data (e.g., tracking spreadsheets, participation dashboards).
  • Self-starter with a proactive attitude and willingness to learn in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience with Canva or internal communication platforms is an asset.
  • Familiarity with the financial services industry is an asset.

  • Coordinating end-to-end logistics for AI training programs (White Belt, Blue Belt, Black Belt, Executive Belt), including scheduling, participant tracking, and certificate assignment.
  • Setting up and organizing training workshops with external vendors and internal facilities, including room bookings, calendar invites, and materials preparation.
  • Tracking program enrollment, completion rates, and certification status across all training tiers.
  • Creating and running internal communication campaigns to promote AI training programs, adoption milestones, and enablement resources across channels (e.g., Viva Engage, email, SharePoint).
  • Maintaining and updating AI enablement content on internal SharePoint sites and communication platforms.
  • Supporting the development of training materials, quick reference guides, and promotional assets for AI programs.
  • Assisting with operational processes within the AI Centre of Enablement, including intake tracking, status reporting, and documentation upkeep.
  • Gathering and summarizing feedback from training participants to identify improvement opportunities.
  • Supporting event coordination for AI-related workshops, lunch‑and‑learns, and community sessions.

Work Term: January - December 2027

This role supports the AI Centre of Enablement in driving enterprise AI adoption and operational excellence. The intern will play a hands‑on role in coordinating AI training programs (White Belt, Blue Belt, Black Belt, Executive Belt), managing certification tracking and assignment, organizing training workshops with vendors and internal facilities, and creating and executing internal communication campaigns. Accountability!
  • The incumbent will report to the Manager, AI Enablement.
  • The incumbent will work closely with the AI Centre of Enablement team and collaborate with various internal departments (e.g., Learning & Development, Corporate Communications, IT, Operations).
  • The incumbent may interact with external vendors and training partners.
  • Complete responsibilities in a proficient and timely manner.
  • Escalate issues to the Manager, AI Enablement when necessary.
  • Ensure time-sensitive functions such as training session logistics, campaign deadlines, and certificate assignments are completed before deadlines.
  • Will be part of a team focused on scaling AI adoption and literacy across the enterprise.
  • Will be expected to provide feedback and recommendations that could lead to process improvements in enablement operations.
