Job summary

Colonial Group in Montreal is seeking an Intermodal Logistics Coordinator to oversee and facilitate the supply chain across multiple channels from our Lachine office. You will coordinate personnel and processes to achieve efficient distribution, with a focus on load booking, tracking, and on-time delivery in a collaborative team environment.

Qualifications

• Experience with intermodal shipping environments.
• Cross-border and cross-border operations expertise.
• Experience in third-party logistics or brokerage.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily logistics operations for assigned accounts and load booking.
• Ensure customer service, track-and-trace and order closure are executed smoothly.
• Communicate shipment status, ETAs and service updates to customers.
• Work with drivers, dispatch, carriers and internal teams to ensure timely pickups and deliveries.
• Resolve delays, security issues or service exceptions with proactive follow-up.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities and support efficiency initiatives.
• Monitor volume expectations and escalate variances with insights.
• Ensure audit documentation is accurate and uploaded to the TMS.
• Provide after-hours support as needed to maintain operations.
